Beaded Bike Charm Necklace
When: Monday, October 23rd at 6:30PM
Where: We will meet at Kim’s home, 2949 NW Bordeaux Lane, Bend (map)
Description of Event: We have many Bellas with skills that go far beyond biking. Here is yet another great craft.
Kim Leahy has been beading, making jewelry and sharing her craft with others for many years. Each piece of her jewelry is individually made with rich colors and quality materials, and many pieces are one-of-a-kind. You can find information about her work at estherbeadwork.com. Esther Beadwork is built on the principle of making and selling quality products and providing friendly, reliable service. The name Esther is from the Old Testament in the Bible. Esther’s story represents what beading is to Kim…using something not perfect and giving it life—giving it a new story. Esther Beadwork has won 2nd place in the jewelry division at the Delray Affair 2 years in a row.
Make a beaded rope necklace that dangles these adorable hand made ceramic bike disc. This is a BEGINNER class and I promise is super easy. You probably will not finish the class, however, will have the skills to complete. The chain looks much, much harder than it is.
Cost: $30 (a bit more due to hand made drop)
This includes all the product to make the necklace, plus additional kits will be available for you to make more for friends/gifts at $13
If you plan to attend, please advise early which color disc you would like as I have to order them. In the photo are lime and orange turquoise, red and on the necklace is brown are also available. The disc measure 20mm.
I do have three disc on hand for last minute, but the earlier the better for the RSVP.
