When: Tuesday, May 22nd
Ride Details: We will ride on the paved section of China Hat Road. We’ll start off on Parrell Road, which is a residential road with slow mild traffic and varying shoulder widths, for about a mile and a half, until we hit China Hat Road. China Hat is a rural road with very little traffic. It is a gentle climb out (less steep than Skyliners) and a nice easy downhill back. This ride is through ponderosa forest with some buttes along the way. On a clear day, the view of the Cascades at the top is spectacular. We will ride about 21 miles at a pace of approx. 10- 12 mph. Lunch afterwards for those interested at The Pour House.
This ride is for beginner or better riders. This is a no-drop ride and no one will be left behind. If you choose to cut a ride short, want to go faster than the group or take a different route, then you are on your own when you leave the group.
If you are not a Bella member be sure to bring a signed waiver. Non-members are welcome to do one ride without a membership if they sign this waiver and give it to the ride leader before the ride. After this first ride you must become a member before attending a second ride.
