Event: Strong Intermediate MTN Bike Ride: Ben’s to Mrazek Out and Back

When: Sunday, August 6th. Be ready to roll at 9:00 AM sharp.

Where: Meet at the Phil’s Area, but near the Ben’s trailhead (map).

Ride Details:This ride will be at an intermediate pace and is welcome to all intermediate and advance intermediate riders. No one left behind. The ride is mostly steady gradual climbs, out and back. A favorite if you like the idea of earning your descents.

We’ll begin at Phil’s parking lot near Ben’s trailhead. We will head up to the MTB intersection, but turn right to head over to the connector trail and road between Ben’s and Mrazek. We will have a technical spot to walk down, but Mrazek will be our reward with the miles upon miles of sweet, winding single track, that is not technical. Our goal will be to make it to the green pump shack over the dry creek bed, turn around and head back.

Nitty gritty details about the ride: Total mileage about 14 miles and 2-2.5 hours. Time will depend on speed of the group and the number of stops and/or rests needed along the way.

This ride is for intermediate or better riders. This is a no-drop ride and no one will be left behind. If you choose to cut a ride short, want to go faster than the group or take a different route, then you are on your own when you leave the group.
