When: Monday, May 22nd, READY to RIDE at 9:30 am.

Where: Meet at the Power Plant on Alfalfa Market Rd. (map)

Ride Details: We will do a loop around Brasada Ranch and cross Hwy 126 to come around the northwest side of Prineville in the Industrial track; going past Facebook and crossing Hwy 126 again to work our way around to SW Millican Rd back to Reservoir Rd. and back Willard Rd. to our start. This is a advanced road ride due to the length but otherwise a very easy and flat ride.

You can see the route and print a cue sheet here: This ride is for intermediate/advanced riders due to length (50 miles) and elevations gain/loss (1220 feet). Pace will be 14-16 mph on the flats. The rider should be able to ride moderate distances with increased elevation gain and loss. All of the roads are in great condition and especially Millican is really nice. Most of the roads have little traffic.

There are no planned water or food stops on this route so please make sure you come prepared with enough water and snacks for 3 – 4 hours. It’s supposed to be kind of warm so I would suggest a camel or make sure to bring two bottles and drink a bottle or two before starting the ride.

All riders have an obligation to the ride coordinator to let her know if they are leaving the ride. Bella rides are “no drop” rides. No one will get left behind unless they choose to cut a ride short, want to go faster than the group or take a different route. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
